BEIJING, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- When talking about his work at the Central Intelligence Agency, the former director Mike Pompeo has never been that honest: "We lied, we cheated, we stole ... It reminds you of the glory of the American experiment."
China, he added, stands ready to continue to promote cooperation in vaccine research and development, use and production with Malaysia, and to strengthen anti-pandemic cooperation in such multilateral arenas as East Asia cooperation, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the World Health Organization to push for the building of a community of health for all.
Washington has never stopped attempting to sow division between China and its overseas partners with groundless claims, for example by accusing China of setting up "dept traps" in developing countries.
"The two tech worlds are connected via a tangle of wiring," it said, noting that the great uncoupling would cause huge economic pain to hundreds of U.S. tech companies.

China and the United States should also expand mutually beneficial cooperation in all fields, and cement popular support for their relations, said Yang.
Meanwhile, Sun Jie, director of China Cultural Center in Fiji, said the center has played a very important role in promoting cultural exchanges between China and Fiji over the past years.
"The development of China and of the United States is not a zero sum game, and we should not reject each other. What we should do is to draw on each other's strength to achieve common development," he said.
"Our message is quite clear: We urge the United States to stop acting with arrogance and prejudice, but enter into constructive dialogue with us on an equal footing. We hope that it will work with us to ease current tensions and put the relations back onto the right track of no conflict, no confrontation, mutual respect and win-win cooperation," he said.
"This is a new front of the battle," said Atli.
